A story about being stoned on the streets of Upminster and trying to get one's bearings (Roomes, the local department store gets a mention because it's a distinctive landmark).

Neo-garage, punk-modernist, jazz-wave, thrash-meandering.
This band was started to provide an antidote/alternative to the formulaic, radio-friendly dross being churned out as 'opium for the masses' and also to pay homage to the bands we really admire for their willingness to ignore conventional boundaries, their humour and their creative stylings.

Story behind the song
The drums were recorded with the tape machine set in such a way as to provide enough ‘doubling’ to create an interesting, polyrhythmic backing part. The bass was run though a Bell Electrolabs Phaser to fatten it nicely and the guitar was overdriven using the distortion built into my H||H amp. The vocals are pretty straight, or as straight as Jean-Paul ever gets, anyway.
