Story behind the song
This is a slight departure from my normal style. I found this excellent RnB beat that seemed to go really well with this song. Thanks to my brother Alex Southgate for some nice Keyboards on this song. This song is about trust and how you have to be careful trusting someone and opening your heart when they can abuse that trust and really hurt you. I wrote this in 1994 for my band at the time Unkle Funk. I can't remember if the bass player Dave Hatcher wrote some of the music. Dave if you are out there it would be great to find out what you are up to mate.
