This is acoustic rock/folk music with (hopefully) a couple new twists and turns!
Hey there, thanks for visiting. I just started writing songs a little over a year ago, and it all started when I became a regular at a small music venue in LA. After six months of seeing the most talented (undiscovered) musicians, I was inspired to start writing. Keep an eye out for me in the LA music circuit, I'm just getting started!

Story behind the song
It's a long one!
Lyrics
I wake up every morning alone in my bed, A sigh of relief as I turn my head. I don't miss you, I'm happy to say The weather's enough to get me by in LA. You called me, asked me what's going on? I couldn't be bothered, couldn't stifle my yawn. I already gave you your one last chance, I'll just chalk up our past to happenstance. The course of my life is changing tone But there are days when all I feel's alone And now I miss New York like I miss myself I know it's there but I'm somewhere else. You wake up every morning a brand new man. You take things is stride, that's just part of your plan. You live off someone else's vibration Giving you a false sense of sophistication The course of my life is changing tone But there are days when all I feel's alone And now I miss New York like I miss myself I know it's there but I'm somewhere else. Now I'm repairing all my senses, I'm getting my head clear And thinking how I might be different had I not spent all those years Building my reality around your lies, Your empty words and wandering eyes And now I miss New York like I miss myself And in New York you were someone else.
