Story behind the song
This was the third song that I recorded. I had everything worked out in timeing, bars and chord progression and when I tried to record I couldn't get past the second measure. I stopped and took some time and said a prayer over this song. When I started to record the next time I went all the way through the song with out stopping. What made it special was that during the song without planning I added a bridge and then added a whole new chord progression near the end that turned out to be another bridge that worked out perfectly. The really spooky thing about it is that the first bridge fell right between the crucifixion and the resurrection. I haven't told this to many people because I don't know if I would believe it. But, there it is.
Lyrics
Son of God and Son of man Forty days in the Desert sand In the desert sand How can I Doubt his innocence? How can I Doubt his inner strengths? How can I Doubt his deity? How can I Doubt he lives in me? Son of God and Son of man Forty days in the Wilderness In the wilderness How can I Doubt his faithfulness? How can I Doubt his love for us? How can I Doubt his holiness? How can I Doubt his love for us? Son of God and Son of man On a hill there Three crosses stand Three crosses stand How can I Doubt he died for us? How can I Doubt forgiveness? How can I Doubt he rose for us? How can I Doubt he lives in us? Son of God and Son of man Sitting now at God’s right hand At God’s right hand Now that I Know the Son of God Now that I Know his love for us No more doubt He paid the price for us No more fear It’s in his word we trust. Son of God and Son of man Three in one The great I Am The great I Am The great I Am
