Story behind the song
Inspired by the changing of seasons. Living in Charleston SC makes for long hot summers and the changing to fall is welcomed. Driving from Charlotte to Charleston on a Sunday afternoon in early September in a old 71 Chevy truck with the windows down and I noticed that the shadows had grown long and there was a crispness in the air I hadn't felt in a long time.
