Lyrics
We can see the altar, The Father of the bride, The children sitting in pews, The families on the opposite side. The wedding of the century, The bond that has been birthed, The uniting between the two parties, Heaven and the Earth, The service was going in progress, It was all going as planned, The priest asked for objections, And up stood an old man. He said it’s not the answer it isn’t meant to be, Then the man suddenly disappeared, and left everyone staring at me. CHORUS: Set aside a place, A place that we call home, A place that no one’s ever seen, It’s the place that we belong. Then the ceiling rumbled, And the floor started to crack, The priest’s eyes opened widely, As he fled into the back. I followed right behind him, As he exited the mass, He said there’s not much time, The end is coming fast. And I asked him, “What do you mean by that?”, He said I’ll show you the way, I think we’ll be alright, I think, I hope, I pray. We’ll make it to the safe house, Where the other’s sit and wait, We’ll see Peter standing there, Watching over Heaven’s gate. The priest led me across the road, Home (cont.) Into a forest of chrome, In the middle stood a shack, The shack was our new home. CHORUS.
