Ben Allan's musical endeavors started when he was merely 17 and have only evolved ever since. He delivers acoustically driven, home-written songs laced with emotion and sentimentality. For Ben, writing music is a constant learning experience, one that has endless boundaries to be explored. He looks to represent mulitple genres through his music, never limiting himself to one specific sound. The finished product is an eclectic compliation of songs full of energy, emotion, and a Martin D-15 acoustic guitar. His full length: They're Only Miles is being recorded this summer at MMI Studios with a tenative release date in early 2007. For now, catch him at a live show or take a listen to a few sample demos released here. Contact: bengasparini@gmail.com

Lyrics
We were given this youth to grow And were driving the years forward To learn the things we never knew And mend mistakes from years ago Were growing up like kids But you can’t say this isn’t the same as it used to be It’s just the way your eyes always saw the sunrise coming but then burning out I can grab a hold of the past and you know me, I’m looking back At these pictures, and im sure that I miss her But it wont be long before I move along You know these things, they don’t last forever Annie I, remember the shame in your eyes, but the years have all washed it away It cant be easy to always house all the beauty with jealous friends and dead ends leading you astray There’s more to it than what it seems, I took a risk and then I left to find the real you, to find the real truth
