Story behind the song
This is a companion piece to Night Vigil. The theme is very similar. I won't get into too much detail. Two samples are used. The footprints at the beginning came from the Freesound website. The filename was 8141_petrasound_footsteps_1.aif. It was posted under a Creative Commons sampling license. The second vocal sample came from an Amanda P. Mcdermott, a Soundclicker who lent me some vocal samples to experiment with. This is her website: http://www.wenchette.com/. (The sample is discretely buried in there - if you have a good ear, you might catch it.)
