Story behind the song
Piano lead and Moog solo's. Tempo 77 bpm. Lonely and ominous. Hmm… describes the mood I was in during the composing of this piece of music. Initially thought about making this song bigger, however I believe it would have lost the essence of my disposition i.e. frame of mind.

Very different from what I'm used to in your music, when it starts. No Jazz here and it's very inspired and strong. At the start I didn't recognize you at all, but going further I more and more have to think of "Strega". The same kind of darkness here, in combination with the feeling there's somebody behind you trying to catch you. A kind of thriller getting more and more tension when the song is developing. Rhythms are like footsteps. I really like this one, especially that mystery you have put in here. The title is very well chosen as well. Wow. Why didn't I hear this before?

Awesome! A very interesting, key-centric track. A building of foreboding and tension - this music would work as sound track material IMHO. Hey, where's the sax, horns and boogie? Another side of Mr. Massey - compositional wizardry and musical mysticism.

The moodiness is palpable in this arrangement Al, I would call it a mixture of wistful edginess and enveloping intrigue.. Love the entire presentation. Nice, nice, nice!

It is always good when some "old" tracks are pushed to the top my friend: this is a different shape of your musical style Al, so misterious and deep, but one thing is always to pick up in your works Al, your fantastic rythmic (dynamic) talent.....starting from a quiet slow piano line ( really elegant lines ), growing into a crescendo with all the intruments ( beautiful Synths ), landing on a fast drum part but then suddenly turned down in rythm/instrumentation toward the outro ( at 4:47)....Dynamic on its best form. Nice and inspirational track, well done Al!! :)
