Lyrics
10-24-06 The day before 65 Active-Duty Members publicly file an Appeals for Redress, I’m wondering if the Media will cover it at all…MSNBC had the story up on its site yesterday (10-23-06) but today, even a SEARCH engine couldn’t find it. Maybe I already have my answer. Tomorrow morning we’ll find the answer to If Nobody is Listening Does It Make a sound? That’s because tomorrow morning at 10am, 65 active duty members will officially call for Congress to end the U.S. occupation of Iraq and bring the troops home. It’s called the Appeal for Redress, and they’ll be represented by their attorney, to take questions from the media, assuming the tree shows up. It comes on the heels of a Republican Party precariously balancing on their heels, only to be surpassed by the clumsy oafs called the Democrats who’ve already beaten them to the ground. Although Troops have protection under the Military Whistle Blower Protection Act, the slippery slope ends with the inability to act in faction in any way, meaning you can complain all you want, just don’t pile on. Three major Organizations have supported the Appeal, including Veterans Against the Iraq War, Veterans for Peace, and Military Families Speak out, who obviously know nothing about Supporting the Troops. Where’s Ann Coulter when you need one!? But the President seems unfazed by the colossal collapse of an infrastructure that was better off with a tyrannical dictator in charge: [audio] “..I never said ‘Stay the Course’ …” I’m sorry? What was that? [audio] “..I never said ‘ Stay the Course’ …” Stay the Course. What was I thinking… [audio] “Stay the Course…” Oops. I guess the words coming out of your mouth seem to echoing a thought you really aren’t in control of… Now in all fairness, this is just one time, and once is not enough to condemn a man’s words, especially when he can’t eat a pretzel without passing out. $300 billion Dollars spent. 3,000 American Soldiers, another 50,000 Iraqi civilians, and that’s low-balling it. I can’t imagine why the Troops themselves are losing faith in their Commander in Chief, faster than a Body Count in your own infantry…or maybe I can… [audio] Bush: “ we will stay the course…stay the course … America will Stay the Course! … stay the course…etc”
