Story behind the song
Rex says that one thing Townes absolutely loved to do was to gamble- even small "games" or side bets any time, any place. This thought is behind "Pitchin' Pennies" but the love for the man and his craft is really the central theme. Thanks Rex for a truly wonderful song!
