Story behind the song
A member of the Zoomers community shared the story about his new prematurly born baby that had to go through a corrective heart surgery and how feers of the worse affected his emotions and his entire family. I was touched by his sincerity and with the memory of hard moments we had with our own son (who suffers from Atopic Dermatitis and other kinds of allergies and had to be hospitalized 3 times with pneumonia during his first 2 years) I was inspired to write this song. The lyrics aint easy. it took me 3 days to finalize them. The song is quite long and may sound repetative, but it tells with open heart a story about true parent love and the things a loving parent is willing to sacrifice to ensure the health and wellbeing of his own flesh and blood.

I was sitting by your cradle watching you sleep breathing so deep. You were so tiny and fragile, it was making me grieve thinking "what if?" When doctors' opinion is turning statistic my mind can no longer remain optimistic. My right hand I would give to make sure you will live 'cause that's how much I love you. While my consciousness is cloudy and unclear suddenly my right hand started disappear. I foresee the mockery and sneer But that's how much I love you. And while those words still echo in my ear the floor just suddenly looked more then ever near and yet this knowledge didn't make me tear 'cause that's how much I love you. I was sitting… When doctors' opinion is turning statistic my mind can no longer remain optimistic I'll sacrifice my life if only you survive. 'cause that's how much I love you. But in my head I'm hearing angel's voice: “I don't need your life, I'm giving you a choice. exchage your tongue for your life and the boy's 'cause that's how much God loves you”. "I agree" I thought silently “it's a bargain if I'll just live to see him pushing me in wheelchair years to come, no hands, no legs, and dumb”. I was awaking by your cradle finding you sleep still breathing deep. You were so calm and peacefull, it was making me proud for crying out loud. It seems I'll live to walk with you for long, to hug you tight and sing to you that song that gave me hope I'll see you growing strong 'cause that's how much I love you.
