Story behind the song

My landlord lost her son, and asked me to write her a song to put on her webpage dedicated to his memory, I couldn't turn her down--the idea hit me hard--so I went upstairs and wrote this for her. It took me a couple hours to write, and a few weeks to record, but this is a rough scratch copy of what I have so far.
