The pain is always there. You cannot stop that which is inevitable. The beginning of the song is the realization that they will soon be gone. The chorus and the bells brings to light the memories. The song progresses with intensity as the time slows creeps forward. And the pain, feelings, and emotions continue to escalate. Until, finally at the end, where your heart races with sadness, desperate for just a little more time with them... Until they depart from you... and you can no longer be within their prescence... You have departed from their embrace.
