Rockman has been singing and playing piano since the young age of 5 in the church and choir founded by his grand mother. He picked up playing the guitar when he was seven and has been amazing audiences with his talents ever since. His songs and style are inspired by Artist such as, Sly Stone,Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, George Benson, Jimi Hendrix, the Commodores, To name a few. Billy Joel was Rockmans neighbor in upstate New York. Rockmans music was especially inspired by Milan Willams Original Founder and member of "The Commodores". Milan attended Tuskeegee institute with Rockman's Cousin. When The Commodores Where getting started Milan would stay at Rockmans parents house and they would play guitar and perform card tricks. This Experience would be a major influence To Rockman and his music.
