God has a purpose for each and every one of us. Our calling is to seek his will. Share with me on my journey to discover God in truth and reality. I dont pretend to have the answers, but Im sure having fun asking the questions. After all, if Gods wisdom is foolishness to man, then I think Id rather be a fool. Story behind the song
As a response to a song competition on CSN I chose a favourite hymn of mine from my childhood. I've always loved what this song shares and truely hope that I've captured it's essence in this my interpretation of 1 Kings 19:8-15
Lyrics
Dear Lord, Creator of the world, Forgive my foolish ways. Renew my mind, revive my soul. In my busy world I find it hard to hear Your voice, Show me the beauty of Your peace. Breathe through the heats of my desire Your coolness and balm O still small voice Speak through the earthquake, wind and fire O still small voice Small voice of calm Let Your quietness fall. In simple trust I hear Your call But feel unworthy I need Your grace to face it all. In joy, in grief, in everything You're here beside me. Whispering gently through the storm. Breathe through the heats of my desire Your coolness and balm O still small voice Speak through the earthquake, wind and fire O still small voice Small voice of calm Let Your quietness fall. Let Your quietness fall.
