21st Century Worship is the name I use for pretty much all my worship music endeavors. The band is not so much a band yet - it's me. And I have some people who play with me, for the most part my worship team at the church where I lead worship. 21st Century Worship is about taking the timeless truth of the glory of God and worship of Him and bringing it into a place that fits today's world - while not giving up anything of the music's timelessness and truth.

Story behind the song
I love the Psalms. They're the songbook of the early church. When I was reading through the Bible in 2003 (in the NLT translation) I came to where I would begin Psalm 1, and I prayed. I promised God I would do my best to stay focused on what he wanted to teach me in the Psalms, and if any music was going to come out of it, that was up to him. So.... Psalm 1 became the lyrics of my next song (okay, a variation of the Psalm. The full title of the song is "Such Joy (a Variation of Psalm 1)"
