Blues in C#m played during a vertigo illness
blues electric signorile
Artist picture
Blues guitarist, pianist and keyboard synth player, and composer of neo-classical music. Lead guitarist of Blues-Rock Bands.
I have been a musician - performer and composer - for close to 50 years, and I've been playing guitar for about 42 of those years. I have become mostly a player of Blues as of late and recently was invited to be the lead guitarist of a revived Blues-Rock 60's band. This picture is of me, and yes, Les Paul! And that's my Les Paul Deluxe, which I play along with my Clapton signature stratocaster.

Story behind the song
I had planned on working on a couple of collaborative projects this weekend, but after a quick bout of vertigo on Friday night I woke up Saturday morning with my world spiining. It seems my allergies ended up producing fluid that chose to work it's into my middle ears, and as we know, that's the center of (physical) balance. Instead, I decided to see if I could play at all, and despite the fact that every time I looked down at my guitar and then back up I'd get a real bout of the dizzies, I still managed to do about a half dozen takes of a Blues in C#m - from which I was able to prune enough material to put together this piece, in all it's spinnin' glory. I purposely chose some unusual effects post-production to emulate how my head was feelihng while recording this - and how things were sounding to me. In case you're concerned, I slept with my head elevated a bit last night, and I feel significantly better today...so I think I'm on the mend! This was played on my Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with my Crossroads pedal and RP-80 processor. and recorded with Audition 1.5
