Producer, musician, and DJ.
Mark Pynn adopted the artist name 'Pynner' at the age of seventeen when he began selling cassettes of his music to his peers at school. The tapes contained a psychedelic mixture of drums and a toy keyboard played through borrowed guitar pedals, all recorded on an analogue four-track Portastudio. As a teen Mark studied drums and guitar, then at the age of twenty he earned a diploma for Audio Engineering. Using sample-based software, online he shared several Pynner remixes of classic songs, the most popular being of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 'Woodstock'. Pynner has also enjoyed a DJ career spinning house and techno music at small parties with DJ partner Chevy. While it was his dream to produce a concept album from the start, it wouldn’t be until the age of thirty that his debut album '2081' would start to come into realization. While drumming for Kill Matilda in Montreal, Mark purchased Pro Tools, and this final addition to his studio allowed him to finally create the sounds he would need to make '2081'. The first song produced with his new studio would end up being the eleventh track on the album, 'The Prophecy'. Over the course of eight years, pieces of '2081' were recorded in Quebec, Ontario, and BC, respectively. In order to produce the theatrical skits on the album, Mark borrowed help from his friends and family members as performing voice actors. '2081' was finally released in February of 2019. Currently Mark lives on Vancouver Island where he studies psychology and linguistics at The University Of Victoria and works on a fruit farm.

Story behind the song
Took me a long time to make, with help from my Yuki
Lyrics
Walked a dinosaur, along the ocean floor, searching for something more than just the ocean floor With only one wish, beside him swam a fish carrying a petri dish and an empty list What does it all mean? My world is only green, no blue and no brown, only green all around I like it simple you see so don't you complicate me with the arguments about the things that went across your crazy mind when it met with mine This is my world, go back to your world Smoke rose from my head and everything you said entered my head but it was misread I want to go to my home where I can be alone but when it's so I'll want to use the phone I'll want to talk with you but you won't be there since I left you, for me you won't care The smoke did finally clear and since we're all still here it was only a dream, so now it does seem But now I seem strange, I'll leave this world again, go back to my world, return to my world My world, my world is full of stars My world, my world has many bars My world, my world can fall apart My world, my world is made of art My world, my world it makes no sense My world, my world has continents My world, my world is time well spent My world, my world it's the best place yet My world, my world speaks Portuguese, Hindi, Swahili and Japanese My world, my world has giant trees with giant flowers for the giant bees My world, my world requires no passport My world, my world is a nice resort with a swimming pool and a badminton court My world, my world is mine and your's
