Epique et sombre (Dark epic)
It is quite simple: this is my very first composition, my very first musical work. It's a dark (first part), and then epic theme (climactic part).
Story behind the song
I'm part of a team, working on making a video game. We are indies, and we would like to produce a commercial competitive product, in order to prove that the "making a game in your garage" time is not that dead. Most of the team members expect to become profesionnals thanks to that project. I'm the main game designer, and music maker, and this is my very first music, as a training, a discovering of the techniques. This theme is supposed to evoke a dark and/or melancholic part, relayed by an epic one. This game is a sort of heroic fantasy / steam fantasy mix.
Since we are still seeking for new team members, if you are interrested in participating to the game project, you can either contact me, even if it is not directly music-related ;)
I just hope I'll get better and better again over the time, to the point I'll be able to product decent music for that game, and for other projects too. :)
