I love the idea of creating music to be listened to around the world via the internet. My music is in a variety of styles including, Jazz, Electronica, Techno, Dance, Rock. Story behind the song
We’ve all been there...anxiety, frustration, anger, stress. Life sometimes overwhelms us with issues beyond our control and it’s effects invade our sleep. Insomnia is a compounding factor to it’s causes and can often make the situation worse with sleep depravation. We lie awake in bed and think about the events past, present or future. Some of us pray for guidance and put the situation in God’s hands - but more often than not - we internalize and it twists and turns in our minds like salt water taffy. Sometimes listening to music helps to relax and distracts me enough to drift off. This tune is a kind of revolving and evolving melody that builds off a simple pattern. Give it a listen and see what you think. An experiment in orchestration without resorting to percussion. Dedicated to a dear musical friend.
