MDMs born November 15th 1981 in San Diego California; MDM was brought up in San Diego California until the age of 12. Moved to Virginia where he stayed true to his roots. MDMs style consist of merging the hip hop an Chicano rap community, with his Mexican culture and his hip hop upbringing, this east coast / west coast artist has managed to blend the two perfectly in his music. At age 13 MDM started writing poetry to release emotions he never wanted to speak about, anger, stress, sadness, happiness, fear and life from his point of view. At 14 MDM was put in the GANG file. Being 14 and having tattoos and gang affiliation did not help much. But being part of W.S.L sure trace gang was more than a gang to MDM it was FAMILY a bond that he had with no one else not even blood. Age 16-18 MDM ran the W.S.L sur trece gang being a leader of so many and being able to influence so many lives was MDMs goal. Rival gang members respected him and neighborhoods all around joined him. At age 18 MDM wanted to put his poetry in motion but also learned he was going to be a father. So with more motivation MDM started rapping in his cousins computer room and then soon to graduate to a closet recording booth. With motivation and a lot to say MDM wrote 20 songs in 30 days recorded and release a neighborhood mix tape, and on April 25th 2001 MDM became a father to a beautiful little girl. The birth of MDMs daughter changed his whole perspective on life. MDM made a choice to leave the gang life behind him and raised his daughter; in the meanwhile MDM stepped away from the microphone. No time in-between supporting his family and spending time with his daughter to record. But MDM held the poison pen, continued to write and release his emotions. Between ages 21-23 there was a very stress filled separation between MDM and his significant other. MDM dedicated to being a father would not leave his daughter. Finally after years of stress, anger fear of not seeing his daughter MDM is back. Back to reach a larger audience so they can understand there is more than one person in the world who feels what he feels. MDM wants to take the chicano/latino community on his back and bring the street music back to the barrio. MDM is building up a large fan base reaching struggling fathers who want to see there children, active and former gang members, hop-hop heads, heart breakers and heart takers. MDM brings his versatility to the hip hop game. MDM has been through heart breaks, domestic disputes, gang fights, love problems, almost every life situation you can think of. MDM (now 24) has perfected his craft to where he feels it is his time to be heard. While listening to MDMs music you will hear the passion of the streets like a mixture between SOUTH PARK MEXICAN and THE GAME and love for the barrio like LIL ROB. With these and many other influences he has been able to obtain a fan base from all over the east to west coast. MDM knows it is his time to shine all he needs is the opportunity.
