StudioMac Sounds is me, Mitch Townley. I am a Children's Pastor from Knoxville, TN. I have been writing seriously since 2003. It has become a wonderful hobby and a way to let my daughter Kristen (20) do some recording with her wonderful voice. I hope you enjoy my collection of Christian, country and comedy songs. Thanks to my many friends who have written the music for, played instruments on, and sung on these cuts.

Lyrics
Interstate Of Fame © 2006 Mitch Townley/Rolf Schnyder Vocals: Scott Word (v1) Got a demo in my pocket, old guitar in my truck Basket full of mama's chicken; sticky note says "good luck" Westbound on I-40 to Music City, USA Gonna make it there, make it big someday (Chorus) I’ve got dreams to go the distance. Down the interstate of fame I’m ignoring all the limits Living in the passing lane A passion has been burning There’s no putting out the flame It’s a wild ride driving on the interstate of fame Driving on the interstate of fame (v2) Been living in a warehouse, a few blocks from Music Row Had a gig down at the Bluebird, swept up after the show Wait tables some at Dennys, waitin’ for that one big break If you're gonna drive here, you gotta drive by faith (Repeat Chorus) (v3) Got a dollar in my pocket, my guitar, sold the truck. Tried hard to get my foot in, doors all seemed to shut Eastbound on I-40, Greyhound ticket says one way But I’m coming back , coming back someday “Cause (Chorus) I’ve got dreams to go the distance. Down the interstate of fame I’m ignoring all the limits Living in the passin’ lane Yeah, a passion is still burning There no putting out the flame I’m gonna take a ride Down the interstate of fame Down the interstate to fame
