Musically, we take influences from many different bands, giving us an Indie, Gothic, Punk, type mix. Story behind the song
The song, I (Cole) wrote while thinking about Romeo and Juliet. Every single line in the song can be directly, or symbollically linked to the story. The title, actually came up when James was thinking of a title for a different song in summer of 2005.
Lyrics
It's always been a dream to burn this bed of roses It's always been a dream to wash away this pain It's always been a dream to show them your true demons It's always been a dream to be able to rid these dreams She lies in neon, the most mysterious girl She lies in neon, the only true thing in this world She lies in neon, the most delecate pearl She lies in neon, and our love unfurls A clock strikes midnight, there's, another twilight You put the rose, underneath your nose You take a deep breath, theres a twilight in death As our eyes close, we sense the, twilights on roses We step into the night,as it, falls all around us We run into the moonlight, the stars take us in there arms The December moon is full, the skys a shade of violet We all gaze cherubically, at the thought of infidelity Our loved carved in razorblades, 6 hearts and 66 spades My dear won't you listen to me, this is the sound of my obsequy A clock strikes midnight, there's another twilight You put the rose, underneath your nose You take a deep breath, theres a twilight in death As our eyes close, we sense the, twilights on roses
