Well, I guess I'm not really a band as I have performed as a solo act for most of my life. Lately, my sweet lady has been playing accoustic bass and singing with me on many of the gigs and from time to time we also have a lead guitarist and sometimes a drummer as well. All of this is rather new, very fun and exciting. But whether I am working alone, or as a duo, trio or four piece band, it's still just; J. D. Haring.

Story behind the song
A sweet little old lady from Madison Tennessee gave me the idea for this one. I was chopping some wood for her and she was telling me about break up between her son and daughter-in-law. She said "I guess he figured that if she was going to leave him, he might as well go too.
