Story behind the song
An eclectic mix of both Brazilian and Afro-Cuban percussion, the song captures the multi-cultural ambiance of South Beach, Miami. It juxtaposes Puerto-Rican Bomba rhythms with elements of Cuban Guaguanco, NY Salsa, as well as Brazilian Baion and Samba/Batucada. The melody is a catchy, care-free tune riding over the percussive mixture; not unlike what would be heard on any given day at South Beach.
