Story behind the song
Song is basically about musicians who are fake, and try to stand for something. Basically the song is about finding your style, and soul, and going with it. Motivated words about trying to set your own standard, it can really apply to anything. Thats the key to the way lyrics come from the band, they are never specific, they can apply to anybody and any situation.
