It was the summer of 2004 when after several years working on different commercial music productions we finally decided to start a new project with a very clear objective. An escape path had evolved through all the tunes and thoughts that had been ringing in our minds for so long, looking for a way out that had been closed to us in the kind of products we had been working on until then, that ‘unreleased material’ ... Although the first attempts aroused a very strong 'Techno-Pop' flavour , we didn't target on any specific music style, and after several months of comings and goings it finally took the shape you will hear in this album. An eclectic product with reminiscences of every musical style we had been working on before. An innovative kind of Fusion... slowly cooked-up with patience and passion. Actually, there were so many DREAMs in FUSION of what gave birth to this album ,giving a soundtrack to that altered state of mind in Utopia over the last two years. Some 'almost completed' tracks have been completely stripped down to the bones and rebuilt just because after such a long production period they lost the basic feeling that gave them sense. It's been like reverse painting... one year to put the paint on, ok... we've got the Colour, and one year to take the extra paint off...ok we have got the Shape... In the end, simplicity became a very complicated matter. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did ! Do you Dream?
