'Happy Birthday' is a blantant attack on the absurb optimistic pap that constitutes much of philosophy today. In the face of an indifferent universe, and the undeniable reality of oncoming death, the author finds only a small glimmer of hope through his own existential interpretation of events, as to the amount of sustenance that will be reserved for others upon his expiring. One might wonder what use it is in preserving the ultimately pointless life of others through one's own demise, but any hope, however unstable, must be embraced.
Lyrics
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday
Pain and darkness and despair
People dying everywhere
Happy Birthday
One step closer to the grave
Think of all the food you'll save
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday
