Jimmy Hicks, Jr. has always been a charismatic individual, but that never shined through so true until he morphed into his now street-famous alter ego...Jay Dollar. Dubbing himself the crowned Prince of the Dirty 3rd, there has been no stopping him. Jay first discovered his love for hip-hop during his Sophomore year in high school. During long basketball trips, he participated in several freestyle battles on the back of the bus. He soon developed an unparalleled talent for artfully creating colorful metaphors and insightful rhymes. He has performed in many local venues such as Club Onyx in Hot Springs, AR, Club 24 in Pine Bluff, AR, and Night Life Rocks in Little Rock, AR to name a few. Jay's main goal in life is to become the best at whatever he does. "If you're not going to strive to be the best at it, it's not worth being done." After earning his B.S. in Business Management from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, the self-proclaimed "Future of Hip-Hop" is ready to take his place among the greatest names in rap history. He's not trying to be the next Jay-Z, 2Pac, or Biggie. He's striving to be the very first Jay Dollar.
