"Music of My Heart" Raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, I found an interest in music at a very early age. I started out writing my own songs in grade 8 and did my first recording of a song a year later. Writing and recording music is something that I always turn to in my times of need. I find that it releases an energy inside me that makes me come alive in so many different ways. I'm most at peace when I am engulfed in music. Anyalyzing lyrics is something that I've always done and it feels good to be able to read into and understand exactly what each phrase means. I think that only few people are blessed with this extrordinary gift and I could not be happier that I was chosen. With this ability it makes the music that I create mean more as I can dig down deep inside and pull out the feelings that I wanted banished forever. I think that the more in tune you are with your lyrics the more your songs become real. It represents you better in the end as well. If your songs are as real to life events as possible more people are going to be able to relate to them. If they can relate to the songs they will know that the music comes from the heart. I vow to anybody that likes my music as well as to myself that each and every lyric that I help write or pen myself will come straight from my heart
