He Is There
You can’t see the Lord He sees you
He knows everything you do
You can’t hide behind that curtain
His eyes are upon you that is certain
He is not visible but He is there
Ready and willing to answer your prayer
He wants to keep your life in control
His only interest is saving your soul
Your thoughts may be evil or pure
He knows every thought that is for sure
You can’t conceal no matter how you try
He is there with a watchful eye
He never sleeps always awake
He is there your burden to undertake
He is loving and forgiving if you ask
He is ready to help you with a problem or task
He is willing to show you the way
He is there to keep you from going astray
He is understanding all knowing and wise
You can’t pull the wool over his eyes
He is always present to show you the way
Asks only that His commandments you obey
If you should falter He is there
He will not forsake you He does care
He is your shepherd you are His sheep
He will not abandon you His bounties you will reap
Have faith pray and to Him be true
He gives much and asks very little from you
