Have Faith
When you are in pain or suffer a loss
Think of Jesus who died on the cross
He endured torture to his last breath
Suffered the ultimate until his death
You may wonder and ask why
There is so much suffering before we die
Why are some in pain some not
You may feel God abandoned you or forgot
He will not give you more pain than you can bear
He is compassionate and does care
There is always someone worse off than you
Accept your fate that’s all you can do
Life is an unpredictable and complete mystery
From birth an unknown destiny
If you have been fortunate in the past
It was not promised that it would last
Life is not always a bed of roses
We must face what life imposes
At times it may seem out of control
Learn to accept that which is doled
Be happy if you can walk
Be thankful if you can talk
Be elated if you can see
Be joyful to hear the birds singing in the trees
When you feel that life is unfair
Have faith and say a prayer
Let not the heart know despair or bitterness
Recount the many times you were blessed
