Piano-based soft rock worship tune. Both Keith Green and Rich Mullins are in heaven, so I wanted to write a worship tune that would combine their styles.
Chuck and Linda Sylvester are a contemporary Christian husband and wife duo. The style is pop rock with blues and country influence.
Story behind the song
Jesus didn't say "I have come to show you the way, to tell you the truth, and to show you how to have eternal life." Those things are all true, but Jesus made a much bolder claim. He said, I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We don't need religeon, a creed, or seven steps to spiritual success. Jesus Christ is all we need.
