Story behind the song
I was amused by the contrast between love songs of country/pop singers pledging fidelity and devotion to their wives, and how their private lives often didn't match the songs they were singing. I also observed that so often, the women in real life take the "players" back, hoping in desperation this time it will be different. "But they know that song is gonna have the same old end...". This is the result.
