Story behind the song
The first part is the name of a song that should be sung over it, when I get that part of the studio running if ever. Niafounke is a place in Mali. Originally this started with a beat from the show on WorldLink called "Timbuktubab" about an American blues player collabarating with traditional Malian musicians. That beat long since morphed out of the song, but I call it that to remember the good feeling of seeing musicians from different cultures collaborate in such an equal way.
