Story behind the song
This song was inspired by my girlfriend (who recently became my wife). She and her family have been through a lot, things I can't even imagine. This song was meant to remind her that tough times have made her the wonderful, Godly woman that she is. True character and integrity are earned, and faith is built on brokenness. It's when you no longer have a leg to stand on that you really start depending on God (and experiencing His love and miraculous power and peace).
