limbs flutter and people mutter
in disbelief not even discreetly
making more of it public knowledge
that a child with less could get to college
the talk they speak leaves for a bloody trail
and a collage of negativity
talk is cheap and you can bleep yourself
without fail
call me sensitive I am but never lacking sense
to see and feel real
dumb asses will come correct and watch what
they say about people with challenges
some say disabled as though to dis the able
instead it's a dis on ability because
those with less amaze is the new craze
or fad becomes a child who puts a smile
on their mom or dad
