Story behind the song
When Christopher Thomas handed me the lyrics to this song - I knew I liked it - wasn't sure why - but I liked it. He afforded me license to edit and shift words as I wished. He was great to work with that way. His version was about a failed double suicide... Let's just say - I altered it a little... The image of Robert Redford and Paul Newman jumping off a cliff together comes to mind... Butch Cassidy - I think...
