Story behind the song
This was the first orchestral number I ever recorded. The basic premise was an old couple. One has passed away, and the other just wastes away the hours waiting to join them. In the end they decide to take things into their own hands. They climb to the top of a cliff, close their eyes, and with a smile, gently lean off the cliff. The idea was that it was their time, and that they were SO happy to be seeing their loved one again really soon. Might sound a bit morbid, ha ha. But thats not how I see it, I think Id be lucky to find someone in my life that would miss me that much when I was gone.
