Tyraeon was begun as a raw black metal solo project in early 2005, converted to nearly pure Scandinavian folk metal in late 2005, and mixed the two in early 2006. Story behind the song

This, favorite among my listeners, has often been called a "Masterpiece of pure Black Destruction." The instruments are heavily influenced by the songs Jesu Død and Lifit es Daudefaerd. The lyrics were written in a mixture of Norwegian and Finnish by Daniel Fleisher.
