Gohard Boegard started off in a seven member rap group called Major League. After a couple of years of recording and performing with the group, Boegard parted ways to form his own group. This group was called Woodcyde. It was a four man band that was making some solid moves in the music business. Performing with the likes of Eight ball & MJG, Tela, Too Short, Luke Campbell, E-40, South Circle & many more. Woodcyde had a strong name in the South. They recorded a full album but never released it because there were some major issues with the record company whom they were with. In short, Woodcyde split from the label thus spawning Gohard Boegard as a solo artist. Boegard said to me, I tried the group thing twice, now let me try me and see what happens.
