rock fun acoustic soul christian funny humor catholic entertaining popple
acoustic humor rock for the soul - Popple gives great live shows and creates fun CDs for all ages (especially youth)
What is the point? Why does Popple spend so much time writing songs, recording, practicing and having a blast playing music? Kyle and Dan are two Catholic guys who like to have fun. They have combined these two aspects into a milkshake they call: Popple. They try to maximize the fun, without watering down their message of God's love and our responsibility. Assuming God enjoys a good laugh too, they use humor and on-stage antics to keep the joy coming. Today Popple is available for fun concerts (originals or covers), praise and worship, mass music, retreats, event speakers and other needs that businesses, churches and individuals may have.

The Heist (w&m D. Harms) A man walked into a bank one day And he had inside his coat A device which could end your life But in this instance it won’t And he walked in, through the front door His heart was cool, calm, and collected The words he’d practiced, a thousand times before They would echo on and on His heart went Bum bum bum bum … He said high, high Put your hands up to the sky This is a heist, a hold up But it’s different now this time, because I don’t want your money I just want your time And the people in the town Laid their hands and purses on the ground As their hearts picked up And they went Bum bum bum bum And he said no no no no You’ve got me all wrong I mean you no harm But their hearts went Bum, bum, bum, bum . . . Just listen to my story Can you help me find my mind? I had it once and now it’s gone It’s left me far behind I’d like it back, I’d like it back I’d like it back again By the way, he said My name’s Tim He said high, high Put your hands up to the sky This is a heist, a hold up But it’s different now this time, because I Don’t want your money I just want your time And the sirens sounded loud The police they circled round But inside that bank they found Buddies and friends and happiness, cakes Laughing and hugging and the shaking of hands It’s fine it’s fine This man here is fine It was a heist, a hold up But it’s different now this time, because He doesn’t want any money He just wants our time 3. Puppy Dog (w&m D. Harms) I’m looking up I’m looking down Trying to find the place I’ve lost and I’m found Away from my bone, away from my home I am just a puppy dog out here all alone What’s this I’ve found? What’s this I see? It just seems too familiar For it not to be A place that I’ve known A place I call home And I am just a puppy dog Out here all alone. Bark solo What’s this I’ve found? What’s this I see? It just seems too familiar For it not to be A place that I’ve known A place I call home And I am just a puppy dog Out here all alone. 4. Better Versions of Ourselves (w&m D. Harms) Thank you all for sitting at my table I hope the food nourishes you well And that through all this you are able To become better versions of yourselves What isn’t wrong Isn’t always right Don’t let me be alone tonight In the morning I’ll be leaving Heading off alone into the sun The sun, the son The son the sun the son Everybody say hey hey hey Oh oh no Hey it don’t have to be that way If you won’t let go The sun is made of fire and gasses That will burn you without glasses Too close and your skin will melt It’s the hottest thing in the solar belt The sun, the sun, the sun Everybody say hey, hey, hey Every body say oh, oh, no Every body say hey, it don’t have to be that way If you just let go Wind rain and the lightning crashes Heat smoke and the red hot ashes Pretty soon the poles will melt And we’ll
