The Merry Blacksmiths are a young traditional band from Santa Paula, California. The band plays the folk music of Ireland. The band has been together for about four years, having first come together under Max Becher (left the band Nov. 2004-Aug. 2006) in 2002. Current members are Jeremy Vierling (Whistle), Daniel Bagdazian (Guitar), Max Becher (Flute, Whistle, Banjo) Nick Collins (Spoons), Liam Collins (Fiddle, Whistle), Luke Seeley (Bodhran) and Michael Burnt (Keyboard - not pictured above).
