Story behind the song
After several attempts to capture me John L. Turner Breathitt County Sheriff finally did about 3am up in the hills. He would have never caught me except for my damn dog wanting to play caught with rocks. My dog was named Roseavelt and I have went to jail twice because of her fondness and obedience to her master. She just would not leave me. One time I was plum away as I had slipped into a neighboring lady house and was even in her bad alseep but the damn dog was sitting right beside the bedroom window. So the Deputy Sheriff James Buddy Harvey (the guy getting baptised in my Picture section of Music Page)just turned on the blue lights and got on the horn saying come on out OH, we know you are in there as your dog is out here waiting on you. Ever word is the damn truth. OH
