Guitar harmonies, piano, chanting, and a healthy dose of good old doom-death. I say 'rough mix' only in the sense that it is probably not the final mix. However, it's a lot less rough than the other songs labeled 'rough mix' that I've got on here
funeral doom doommetal deathdoom
Death-doom metal. Crushing growled vocals, harsh guitars, mournful and foreboding melodies.

Story behind the song
The one melody that permeates the song is all that motivated me to write it. I originally thought that it would turn out a soft, gentle song not unlike "Ten Thousand Eyes," but I was wrong.
Lyrics
Carved in the stone Beneath The fallen snow Hundreds of names I raise my hand A moment's pause Dare I brush it clean? What will I see? The names of the damned The names of the dying Of the hopeless Of those who look back And see nothing Nomina damnatorum Nomina damnatorum What shall I find Inscribed here on the stone Obscured by a layer of snow? Whose name? Carved in the stone My name
