Crazy One-Man Freak Show
I have been writing songs for thirty years and have some real clunkers to my credit. What you will find here are the least objectionable of the lot. I have been told I have a voice with the appeal of a room full of alarm clocks on a Monday Morning. I have a classic face for radio. I had slowed down for a while before I ran across the Just Plain Networking songwriter's forum and got recharged by the super people there. Join us if you will at www.justplainfolks.org I play to entertain me. If you find anything here of any interest, enjoy and welcome. If not, please send my address to someone you don't like. Thanks and have a safe and harmonic life, Mike

Story behind the song
I wrote this one for a hick band in a short story. They got it from a street musician who performs wearing dark glasses because blind musicians get better tips.
Lyrics
Stick With One © 2006 Mike Amason V1 You’ve been cookin’ up pork chops, Collard greens, and cracklin’ bread. At night you turn the covers, fluff up my pillow, And stick my shoes under your bed. Don’t get me wrong, now, Don’t let it make you sad, I just can’t stick with one and make all the other little girls mad. V2 I kissed your sister Sarah, I kissed your other sister Sue, Sometimes I wish you’d had another sister, I would’ve kissed her, too. I ain’t broke no promises, You can’t even call me bad. I just can’t stick with one and make all the other little girls mad. Br You’ve been makin’ noises like I’ve heard a hundred times before. Trying every trick you know To keep me on your side of the door. V3 I work to make a dollar. Whiskey costs me a dime. The ladies take the rest away, But they leave me feeling fine. I didn’t cheat nobody, We each got what the other one had. I just can’t stick with one and make all the other little girls mad. Br You’ve been makin’ noises like I’ve heard a hundred times before. Trying every trick you know To keep me on your side of the door. V4 If I built an ark like Noah, And filled it up with twos, I’d fill it from top to bottom with twin sisters I’d love away my blues Don’t go frownin’ on me, I’m nothing but a healthy lad. I just can’t stick with one and make all the other little girls mad.
