Lolita Ray Swedish and English acoustic songs
Here you find some history of my songwriting kept. Back in the the day's I recorded my songs directly into my computer, often just a couple of days after I wrote them. The sound quality is not good. But each one of them reflekt the very special feeling I only have when a song is new.... You can also listen to some studiorecorded stuff with my two ex. bands here on soundclick: search for the bandnames Little Failures (English songs) and Lill-Britt Siv (Swedish songs). I write both in English and in Swedish wich is my native language. And when I write in English I try to use the language in my own way wich means it may not always be after the book... Most of the photos on this website are taken by Welsh photographer Rhys Jones. The others my myself. In november 2011 I released my first soloalbum in Swedish. Flickan av is. 10 songs of my own and three translations of Steve Earle. You can listen to a couple of tracks att myspace.com/lolitaray, and of course Spotify and iTunes, and if you want to order a copy, drop me a mail at sixstring97@yahoo.com Pax Lo

Lyrics
When the morning has forgotten All the things I never said When the evening has forgiven All the prayers I never prayed When the day will look upon me With clear eyes without tears I will know that I have conquered The greatest of my fears To be alone Be on my own The hand I used to hold is gone As is the shoulder I used to lean upon Just me alone When the wind is whispering gently All the things I need to hear When the sunlight moves the shadows Of the ghosts I to used fear When the day will look upon me With clear eyes without tears I will know that I have conquered The greatest of my fears To be alone Be on my own The hand used to hold is gone As is the shoulder I used to lean upon Just me alone To be alone Be on my own The hand I used to hold is gone As is the shoulder I used to lean upon Just me alone And on my very own Just me alone Foto: Rhys Jones
