Story behind the song
With this song I’m reflecting a very bad time I had, when I fell very, very ill, and the miracle happened that I came back to life again! Now a few years later I want to express my thoughts of that time! I wanted this song to get a very dramatic note. Therefore, after having finished the lyrics and the most parts of the harmonies, I asked my friend Joe Dietz to arrange this song in that way I was imageing. Joe was very glad to do so. Adding an intro, a bridge and some harmony changes at the ending part he shaped the song. With the weeping guitar solo and the fading choir the song gets this dramatic note I imagined. Joe also plays the most instruments. What a great song!
