An observation about the dumbing down of black music and culture.

74 inches of dark chocolate-coated poetic wisdom
This is DarkPoet...Just trying to inject a little abstract lyricism into the ears of my listeners. This isn't your typical brand of poetry; it's spoken word injected with the DNA of hip hop. Even though I live in ATL, I still rep Philly and the UK to the fullest. Everything you hear was produced by me and my homie 3 Grand "Tha Hitman." He's probably the tightest producer you've never heard of, and he's a "stupid mah fah!" Hopefully, what you hear will give you a mental workout and change your perception of poets. Not all of us are dread wearing, incense burning, bohemian vegetarians. Peace...

Story behind the song
I remember hearing about BET refusing to play videos that they think are "too intelligent" for their viewers. Too intelligent? WTF? All BET's viewers should be offended by that!
